Can you get shortcuts back after latest update (alien.top)

The shortcuts when you swiped up were so handy. I’d put on the sleep mode and use the beep for my phone very often but all that’s gone with the latest update.

Is it possible to bring this function back?

I can’t believe they removed it. It was so handy.

Control center is now a press of the side button.

If I press the side button (the wheel) all apps just who up. Could you please explain how to open the control center with the side button. After the update, I can no longer swipe up to access battery, silent mode and all the goo stuff.. :(
