How to create custom dynamic faces? (alien.top)

I am a programmer myself, and I can‘t find any resources on how to create my own apple watch faces. By which I mean properly custom, not a predefined layout with some swappable parts and colours. Properly custom behaviour, custom layouts for widgets, the whole shebang. Can someone point me to the right resources for this?

Apple doesn't allow third party watch faces on the Apple Watch

Sorry, that’s locked by Apple. No third party faces that would run “natively” like an AW face.
