Win or loss, I just want Fields to ball out the rest of the year and prove he deserves one more year with us while we spend our draft capital on other positions.
Chicago Bears
I don't think we have too many glaring holes really. And the biggest holes are at positions that can be filled in later rounds of the draft (center & free safety). A lot of issues can be fixed with a new coaching staff too.
It would be better for every situation if Fields plays well. Then if the new staff wants him they can spend draft capital on positional upgrades (WR & LT) or trade for future picks. If they don't want him then we can send him to Atlanta for a bunch of picks.
Not that I hope it comes down to this, but I'd love to see a game winning drive from Fields with like 2 minutes to go. I always say when a qb gets the ball with 2 minutes to go and a chance to take the lead, "this is where stars are made." I'm not sure Fields as a single drive like that, and it's his biggest question mark for me
I'm ready to be hurt again.
How the hell are we 3 point underdogs in Minnesota
they don't have a qb.
Vegas usually give the home team about 3 points so if this were a neutral field they’d have these teams at about the same level
this is an exciting game. Every game from justin returning from injury is make or break for him. Dude is straight up playing for his job and he knows it too. Thats gotta be a lot of pressure.
looked good against the lions though, but he did look bad against the vikings last time.
im hype neil funk
it would be cool if neither of these things happen tonight:
-
get sacked on the first snap of the first drive
-
get strip sacked on the last play and kick it out the back of the endzone for a safety
I know its a lot to ask
Lets win this game
Has anybody checked in with Getsy and reminded him that they might blitz us every so often?
Tonight's goal is whatever happens, to not let it bother me
Da Bears

I have a dumb question/idea.
If I'm trying to get my QB ready for a blitz-happy scheme, as practice - would it be reasonable to have my offense practice against 12 defenders (1 more rusher than I have blockers) - to simulate my QB under duress + having to identify an open man with everyone "covered." Wouldn't this be a appropriate way to help my QB improve? If not, my question would be what is our OC + staff doing to get ready for this blitz-happy Minnesota defense?
Apparently they weren’t ready last time they played against the Vikings because we literally got sacked first play of the game. Unblocked defender in the backfield already.
Well everyone was ready except the QB, who forgot what to do.
that was due to fields incompetence
I want to destroy them.
GO MICHIGAN, now bears do ya thing Monday
I need 22 fantasy points from Fields tomorrow to clinch the playoffs. Am also a die hard bears fan. My emotional well being can be saved or destroyed tomorrow. I’m terrified
I need a big game from Moore to pull off an upset
CJ Stroud has 6 300 yard games and 4 in a row.
Did you…did you want the Bears to draft CJ Stroud or something?
I’d just like to see a bears quarterback do these things in my lifetime. I was more a Bryce young guy before the season started. I was wrong.
The two best teams in the NFL are the Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles.
Don’t let the meatheads here tell you that you can’t win with a mobile QB
Who ever, ever once, told you you can't win with a mobile QB?
Obviously you can win with a mobile qb. You will struggle to win with a bad mobile QB. Which is what we have.
The football gods are trying their darndest to let us win against the Vikings. First they knocked out Jefferson but it wasn’t enough. Then they knock out Cousins, and Jefferson remains out. If ever there was a chance to beat them, here it is.
I’d be advocating losing out more but with the Panthers looking to stay high and cardinals and patriots also likely standing firm where they are, whatever happens the rest of the season for us happens.
Josh Allen runs for a TD: Gritty
Fields runs for a TD: Dumb, won’t last long. Can’t read defenses, etc
For a minute, let's pretend that this isn't a monumentally stupid truther take that is hoping to pretend there isn't a massive difference in their passing results.
Justin Fields has run for precisely one touchdown this season. Josh Allen has 9.
Hell, Tyson Bagent has more rushing tds than fields this season.
Josh Allen has thrown for 4000+ yards and 35+ TDs the previous 3 seasons lol I'll drink Fields kool aid 24/7 if Justin puts up those stats
I want to watch the Bears win, but I also really want that to happen in a way in which Flus still gets fired at the end of the year. There is nothing Flus can do to redeem himself for me, but I don't think the front office feels the same way.
I've liked what I've seen from Terrell Smith when he's been on the field and he's got a huge opportunity to show out tonight
JF1 is gonna slay. again
Position group v position group I feel pretty good about our chances... until I get to coaching staff. That tells me the number 1 problem to address
There is absolutely zero. Zero. Zero. Excuse to lose tonight. No starting QB or Justin Jefferson.
Didn’t we say the same thing last time we played the Vikings?
If we lose this somehow, you'd think Flus and Getsy would be emailed their severance packages before the players are even off the field.
