How do I stop my Apple TV remote from turning my TV on/off and changing the input to ATV if I push a button on accident? (alien.top)

This just started happening. I don’t want my ATV remote to turn my tv on and off and it’s been changing inputs to the Apple TV as well if I hit a button. Idk if it was an update or what.

Funny enough, mine just stopped doing this even though I want it to. 🤣 Trying a factory reset.
