is the retail sector less desperate or just already cut to the bone? black friday deals have been pitiful this year, certainly compared to the last couple of years

I had to go out on Black Friday on an errand and I expected some frothingfash at the local shopping area, but it was... kind of normal. Just some people I guess. stonks-down

I’ve always felt sorry for the workers, and the circus isn’t worth their suffering, but without the spectacle it’s just not as fun. Yay, 5% off a product marked up slowly over the last few months.
