Riot's music department is so good. This, the two Pentakill albums, they're all bangers.
The login screen music got me into league and the gameplay got me out. All the media they make around the game is good except the game itself
Im curious, what about the gameplay pushed you away?
Personally I really enjoy the MOBA format but it turns me into a fucking asshole.
Thinking back to my dota days makes me cringe so hard. I loved the game but by god was I a whiny bitch at times. Solo queue is a disfunctional game mode that should be purged from the planet.
The only way these games truly can bring joy is if you play with friends that share the same attitude. Talking to real human beings really mitigates so much of the negative feelings that these games potentially generate.
League culture is the worst. Maybe try no chat?
I haven't played in like 10 years, gives me anxiety just thinking about having to learn dozens of new champions.
Understandable, I'm just always on the lookout for non capital G gamers to play league with
Competitive games in general have a poor cost to reward ratio and make me toxic af.
I need a game i can alt f4 if i get annoyed rather than force me to sit there playing for 40 minutes longer while very annoyed
Ironically to enjoy lol you need to have a very zen attitude
The only person I know who plays league and is normal has mained Jungle NuNu for years. I don’t know if he’s ever made it out of silver, but he enjoys it.
