iMessage Apps Not Working (alien.top)

After I updated to iOS 17 and the iMessage apps moved whenever I select an app from the menu it simply will not work. This happens sporadically and sometimes will work but more often than not I simply cannot use the iMessage apps.

I’ve been experiencing this too. In iMessage, I click the + to bring up the iMessage apps and 8 times out of 10, the app won’t load right away (photos, giphy, etc.). If I try to load a different iMessage app, then back again, it might work.

This has been happening since the first iOS17 beta in every version up to and including beta 17.2.

Was hoping someone might have found an answer. :(

Are you on latest, 17.1.1? If not, upgrade. If still having the problem, try turning your phone off and back on.

I am on the latest update and have powered off my iPhone numerous times.

Ah. Sorry I don’t have any other suggestions for you except maybe backing up your data & doing a hard reset. Could try contacting Apple Support
