Everyone hates me, every person who is nice to me is just doing so because its the social protocol and as soon as I'm gone they all talk about what a piece of shit I am
In fact, I'm a bad person for making their day worse by forcing an unwanted social interaction onto them!

I have the quasi-opposite problem where I have relatively good self-esteem and recognize my value as a person, but always worry that no one else cares about me

There was some art installation thing which was this but a public toilet.
In Japan they have transparent public bathrooms so people can see if there’s a creep or potential rapist inside, and then it activates some frosted glass when you lock the door (also activates by default if the power is cut off)
