Seems to me the fear of overloading one instance over another will not happen after all.

But I do hope the Threadiverse can hit 500,000 consistent active users by the end of summer.

I am glad that it is naturally spreading out but it will always have a slight tendency to centralize.

I wish there were some way we could introduce game theory into instance joining in the same way that healthy proof of stake crypto projects have applied game theory to prevent centralization. The problem with that solution, though, is that people will find ways to co-opt and exploit it for their own selfish gains.

Come to shitjustworks, they have defederated just with the most extreme instances and they are very nice m8s.
