On PC, character movement is controlled by mouse clicks, but on PS5, players have closer control of their characters outside combat with the analog stick. This feeling of control over the character is a nice exchange for mouse clicks and could bond players to their character even more. While there are plenty of other small changes, such as menu navigation, the use of command wheels and control of the character make the biggest distinction in how players will experience Baldur's Gate 3 on PS5. I will be joystick and Linux PC. I like the comfort of the joystick.

I think you're confusing Joystick with Gamepads and Linus with Linux.

Well it is an Xbox controller I use with my Linux PC. Works very well.

Yes, that's a gamepad. This is a joystick.

Mouse and keyboard. I do like joystick movement, but I'm used to mouse and keyboard from EA, and being able to navigate the hotbars easily feels like it'll be more important to not getting frustrated. :P

Actions/options can be easier to get to with mouse and keyboard. But I like to game on my sofa and the Xbox controller is more comfortable.

Yep that's the best part about a PC. You can pick and choose whatever input method you want.

I'm hoping for some good mods to improve on the point and click with M&K as well as camera controls.

I started a new playthrough of Divinity 2 because I wanted to get used to the controller again. I think it would play similar to the Baldur's Gate 3 release.

And I love the controller movement for the characters so much better than the keyboard and mouse. Moving the camera and character feel so comfortable.

Now you do have to dig for somethings like inventory but I don't mind that.

Sold on the controller option for me.
