In the past I've normally backed up to hard drive, then sometimes move that to something external. Currently I'm low on good options. I have a laptop with maybe enough space for a backup, and two good external hard drive options.

Is there a little fast how-to guide on this? When I google it, I get responses that are not correct, or written by a robot about an adjacent topic and SEOed to the top of google, or are referring explicitly to Mac.
