According to tech specs, "Apple Watch Ultra 2, Apple Watch Series 9, and Apple Watch SE require iPhone Xs or later with iOS 17 or later. "

I'd like to pick up an SE2 for someone who still has an XR as a gift. Does anybody have experience if it will work?
