The Lions have met with a terrible fate...

[–] NoConflict3231@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Lions staff to GB after the loss: NO TURKEY FOR YOU!

Like bruh, you know they'd be feasting on a giant turkey rn if they had won. There definitely is a turkey in that building they ain't sharing.

[–] cmay91472@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Correct me if I’m wrong…. But the Vikings kind of control their own destiny in regards to the NFC North right?

[–] MattSchaubsPrimeRibs@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I actually don’t think the Lions win another game this year. Tough schedule ahead of them.

[–] nwt0@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The Packers are somehow gonna back into a playoff spot and maybe even the NFC North crown while Jordan Love somehow becomes an even better player than Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers combined, I fucking hate how predictable and scripted this goddamned league is, ugh.

Beat the Bears on opening day and the Lions on Thanksgiving. Call this season a failure all you want, but I'm glad we at least got to ruin a few key days for yall.

[–] GoldenDude@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Hope we get to ruin your playoff hopes at the end of the season too <3

[–] wayoverpaid@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Honestly if we're still in control of our destiny at season's end, we're doing better than I expected.

[–] ByzantineBomb@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

We all laughed at that moon stat

[–] JimyFatBoy@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Half the Packers team is hurt and that's the best we can do? I'm very concerned. This team is providing more questions than answers each week.

We need Jonah back immensely. Our backups are atrocious. Our defense is constantly put in bad situations. The offense can't execute.

What else is new...

Happy Thanksgiving

[–] TornadoCouplet@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Jonah isn't going to help this team. They have the worst pass rush and worst secondary in the league. You are not winning a playoff game with this roster.

Dan Campbell also completely shit the bed this afternoon in some of the worst coaching I've seen this year league round. Matt Lafleur out-coached him in every step of the way and it was embarrassing to watch. This season is over. Even if the Lions limp into the final wild card seed at 9-8 via tiebreaker, they're easily one and done.

[–] knowtoriusMAC@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Turns out going for it on 4th down everytime so the defense knows what's coming and not taking the points is a bad idea.

[–] ArachnidUnusual7114@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Good job Packers, Eagles needed this win.

[–] briizilla@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Let’s go Commies!

[–] Cautrica1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Lions are overrated

[–] Iggynoramus1337@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Honestly, the main thing I care about is that this was just a legit loss. No shitty flags absolutely screwing us or anything. Just a normal unadulterated loss. GG pack, that pass rush was on key today.

WAXING GIBBOUS GANG

[–] 92roll13@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Perhaps having to come from behind 12 pts at home to the Bears with 3ish mins left was a sign of bad things to come?

[–] SuperMario_49@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The tradition continues!

[–] RKFtw@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

THAT is how you hold a lead Chicago

[–] -DonnieDarko-@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

A holiday tradition

[–] Forsaken_Rub_2128@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

My piss is boiling hot right now

[–] SuperValkerie@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I don't understand all the moon comments, is it an astrology thing?

Why does The Moon hate the Lions? Other than Thanksgiving tradition I guess.

[–] Fockputin33@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Man, I love Coach Campbell, but I'd bet he flunked 8th grade Math. WOW!!!!! If he wouldn't have gotten the last 2 point play the GD game was over!!!!!

[–] Fedbackster@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

What a snooze fest. Two pretenders.

Thank you Packers for taking the heat off the Eagles a bit. Jordan Love seems like a nice guy.

[–] ironmanmk42@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Sucks. Really wanted Lions to win. Anyhoo, still hoping they get to SB

[–] devonathan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

As someone who is rooting for the Lions this season, they fucking deserved that loss. It's like they're getting punched in the mouth every week at this point, and only responded because they had the good fortune of playing the Chargers and the Bears.

I feel like no adjustments have been made throughout the season, they sat there with their thumbs up their ass at the trade deadline while the two other teams playing for #1 seed made a big move, something is up with Goff, he's playing dipfuck football right now, the defense continues to play soft and is allowing throwing schemes to be waaaaay too open for a team that's supposed to be a contender, and I don't even know what to say for the play calling.

They might not even win the division at this point.

[–] My_Football_Account@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This game was like watching the bully who just beat us up pick on our previous bully

[–] dagreenman18@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Well at least you’re 3/4 over the last 2 years, Lions?

[–] tanker9972@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Wild but we haven't beaten the Lions since 2021.

All aboard the Love train

[–] No-Introduction-1492@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The fucking waxing gibbous.

[–] GoldenDude@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I wish I could be happy but I hate both of these fucking teams ugh

[–] TtarIsMyBro@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The Waxing Gibbous doesn't lie.

[–] massacre078@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I love how the odds and all the expert predictions were in favor of the Lions. Just shows you how that’s all absolute BS

[–] Redgen87@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Didn’t see us splitting the Lions this year but here we are. Great thanksgiving.

[–] TornadoCouplet@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The Saints are better than what their record shows. Chicago on the road is always tough. Denver has improved big time. Minnesota is a great team and Dallas are Super Bowl contenders. Very realistic chance that the Lions lose out and miss the playoffs entirely.

[–] GoldenDude@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

So this is the lions year to lose a playoff game in tragic fashion I’m guessing. It’s an NFC North rite of passage at this point

[–] Mr7three2@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

4 for 4 on props. 0 for 2 on the game bet lmao

[–] esports_consultant@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No amount of good vibes can distract from Detroit's divine calling to lose the early Thanksgiving game.
