when someone new enters the spider gang
Welcome, friend.
Spiders are friends! Even "aggressive" spiders generally try to explain that you're freaking them out first.
The sydney funnel web, one of the world's most maligned spiders, is mostly just a slow little idiot.
I try and maintain at least one house huntsman spider as excepting when they fall on you which is always a shock they're fab room mates.

I hate the innate speciesism of the meme. You know the person who made this was posting about hecking good woofers on twitter 4 years ago.
In fact I’ve always felt strange about the defense of spiders like this. I don’t like how it’s often centered around their practicality (this species kills pests, so treat it with respect). Often it implies there are vermin species (flies, mosquitos, roaches) which are to be regarded is no such way as the lofty arachnids.
TLDR: spider lovers are fascists.
Spiders are such amazing little critters. I love them so much.
I love when they do little dances 🥺
