Apple really needs to communicate these kinds of shortcuts in a better way.
I literally learned in the last few years you could hold down the spacebar to move the cursor around way easier.

Carplay doesn't work right since the update. It will work some days and on others it won't recognize it was plugged in.

Found this from my GF. When you send a message on a iMessage and hold down the "send arrow" button for a few seconds, you can send it in a fun format like "gentle", "slam", etc. It's pretty funny to do
If you want to hide the Dynamic Island animation, just press it and swipe down (have to swipe to like the middle of the screen). To get it back swipe again.
I have OCD and am on the spectrum, this whole update make my hands feel unwell. I have no other way to put that. Usually after a few days I can cope with the changes but this situation has made my phone very stressful to use.
-The end of what I am typing in a text is blue and it is upsetting me. Is there any way to turn it off? Having the last letter I typed highlighted with a blue aura serves no purpose but to make my chest hurt.
-The way you would highlight and move the cursor around in texts is fucked and I cannot figure out what rules it play by now. I do the same thing I did before but sometimes I get a double bubble, nothing, or it goes to the end of my text. Help. I need to drop and drag to highlight again.
-When I type a long text and I go to proof read and I try to click something in the top lines, it expands my text box and hides my keyboard. You used to be able to scroll up and down within the box of text so you could type/with your keyboard up. Is that impossible now or is there another way to do it?
This likely seems whiney, I am sorry, I wish this stuff didn’t cause me the level of physical discomfort it does. Any help or basic clearly written articles linked would be endlessly appreciated. I have to use my phone to communicate (we all do, that’s a dumb statement) but I struggle with talking on the phone. I really am having a bad time and wish this update never happened. I could have sworn I had the auto update off.
Honestly it seems kind of clunky now, 99% of times I want to send a photo and now it’s either 2 clicks or a wait for the hold. Would make more sense for 1 click to be gallery and hold for secondary menu.
