Most people seem to be giving their ranks on MVP voting citing only QBs. It’s hard to imagine that just a title over 10 years ago Brees’ 46 TDs wasn’t enough to win MVP.

I’m curious as to who the real MVP candidates are. QB production is down so I’m really gearing towards awarding it to a defensive player like Myles Garrett. I know some people have also cited CMC and Hill.

Myles Garrett

Was listening to one of the Browns podcasts and they mentioned for Myles to win MVP it would likely take;

  1. Browns making the playoffs (likely)

  2. Myles getting the sack record (on pace)

  3. Myles scoring 1 or 2 TDs

If he gets these 3 done, he should be the MVP.

Tyreek Hill if he breaks the record.

[–] brainlegss@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

My vote is for Tyreek. Dude is unstoppable

[–] mackinder@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

What do you mean by “MVP, not being a quarterback”. I was told this was Justin Fields year. So disappointing.

[–] MyDadIsTheMan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It’s Tyreek hill and not even close

[–] F-150Pablo@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

T. hill if he stays this output. Other than chiefs game has been on fire. And a Defensive guy would be awesome a lot of guys with a lot of sacks this year.

Stroud is my overall pick but non-QB is Aidan Hutchinson. I might be biased though.

As a Browns fan, I can't imagine what our season would look like without Myles. As a fantasy owner, I can't imagine what my season would look like without Reek. Tough choices here.

Leggatron. Only one missed kick at 50+ yards. Single footingly keeping the jets in games on a coattails of a great defense.

jj watt still should’ve won in 2014

Tyreek

WR MVP would be sweet

r/NFL when Jalen Hurts takes the odds lead for MVP:

[–] Hey_look_new@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

TJ Watt is single handedly keeping the Steelers in the playoff hunt

Miles Garrett

[–] KloppsTotts@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

A QB should and it should be Brock Purdy.

[–] Tmotty@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Tyreek or CMC

[–] nickstee1210@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I think Aj brown is a dark horse as a non qb player

Deron Bland if he gets another pick 6, CMC, and then Myles Garrett

[–] DSN671@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

As a Seahawks fan I think CMC should get it.

I think the obvious choice is Child Abuser Tyreek Hill

[–] Sumiz@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Myles Garrett

[–] Sellier123@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

My man...JJ Watt didn't win it when he was the whole Texans team and dragged them to the playoffs.

MVP is a QB award

Jason kelce

[–] TheElk19@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

CMC, Hill, Myles Garret, Daron Bland, Jason Kelce all have cases imo but it will undoubtedly go to a QB

[–] callumjm95@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Give it to a punter and call it a day

[–] howisthisathingYT@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Tyreek Hill, AJ Brown, CMC, Myles Garrett, Daron Bland, maybe Tua?

Fuck it, give it to a kicker again. Aubrey and Butker are both kicking 100% right now.

[–] aidanpryde98@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He will get DPOY, but Garrett should be the MVP.

[–] LurkingFrient@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I want Stroud to win ROTY and MVP but if your deadset on the MVP not being a QB then the only answer that is correct is Myles Garrett. He's been an absolute game changer and is predominantly the reason the browns have been winning games.

[–] Ok_Alternative7120@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

CMC, Hill, Garrett, or Watt would all be fine picks. Really couldn't go wrong with any of them. All of them would be better than any QB this year.

[–] MReprogle@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

CMC, Myles Garrett or AJ Brown (God, please let it be AJ Brown so that the tears of Tits fans can sustain me for years to come)

[–] dustbuddii@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago
[–] Amoeba_mangrove@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Not MVP but if Bland breaks the record I think he should be considered for DPOY. 7+ turnovers and 30-35 points generated on your own is arguably more impact than higher pure INT numbers or high sacks. No bias

[–] richardjai@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

We all know the real MVP is Taylor Swift, introducing the NFL to millions of swifties who wouldve never otherwise ever watch a football game in their lives.

[–] TheEpicEddy@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I would like to believe Tua has a chance especially if the Dolphins beats the cowboys and ravens
