Will we start seeing less talent on defense as the league seems to be favoring the offense now more than ever?

Is he for real? This is the guy who went on Pat McAfee and told the story about how his feelings were hurt when he didn't get the attention/respect he felt he deserved prior to hiding in a cave for a week and comes out with a chip on his shoulder.

[–] ottopivnr@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

They're both douchebags who happen to be good at football. next.

[–] mseg09@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Rodgers saw Brady getting headlines and immediately knew he had to escalate

[–] HustleNMeditate@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

How Aaron Rodgers is almost my age buts sounds 25 years older, I'll never know. Perhaps it's just way easier for the wealthy to be so bitter about nonsense?

[–] TheKrakIan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Rodgers is gonna be a Brett Favre sized asshole when he retires.

[–] ufotheater@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

So soft because we get vaccinated, Aaron?

[–] riticalcreader@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Societies so soft it’s ACL tore 2 seconds into the season

[–] riticalcreader@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Trent Dilfer has the same number of Superbowls as Aaraon Rodgers.

That’s all I’m saying.

[–] glockobell@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Jeeezus. Fuck this guy.

Go hang out in the inner city or Hurricane destroyed Alcapulco or wartime in the Middle East and tell me how “soft” society is A aron

[–] TidyJoe34@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Dude needs the spotlight so bad.

[–] CanaDoug420@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Tom didn’t say anything about society getting soft. This is like when you say something tame and then some dude goes “yeah! And something totally different too!” And then people are like “did you hear what Tom and Aaron both said? Crazy”

[–] Zeeron1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I remember when people used to think Rodgers was smart. I see a lot of similarities between him and Draymond Green lol

[–] texasgambler58@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The players union won the right to less practice time, there is widespread free agency with 25% annual roster churn; these two items will create ugly football. I'm so old that I remember when holding on a running play was ridiculed; now it's commonplace. The tackling is also pretty poor because no teams have tackling at practice - the number of guys I see throwing an arm or shoulder instead of wrapping their arms is just ridiculous.

[–] ProphetNimd@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

God, I want to see a whole season of him playing like trash.

[–] confetti_shrapnel@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It's because of a shortened camp, fewer stars attending camp, shortened preseason with fewer starters playing in it, and the trend towards younger and younger head coaches.

[–] smarkjacobs@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The two guys most responsible for the changing definitions and unfairness of the Roughing the Passer penalty

[–] spg1611@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

There’s a whole lotta jokes here… but there’s a combination of him being right and player safety mixed causing it

[–] H_E_DoubleHockeyStyx@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

People have been complaining about the game getting softer for years and nobody paid this much attention until these two pretty boys started bitching. The nfl literally must have added half a dozen rules about how you can hit the quarterback so that these 2 bozos specifically could have longer more successful careers.

[–] vanevasion303@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Or social media has zapped our best athletes into little narcissists.

It’s one of the reasons Jalen stands out, he’s not on that bull shit sharing his thoughts on shit.

[–] altitties@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The worst possible take by the dumbest possible man. Bravo

[–] Dunniss@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Cute. The irrelevant Aaron Rodgers trying to be relevant. He should go back to his Joe Rogan Circlejerk

[–] Vast-Treat-9677@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This all started because they forced coaches to give these SOB’s water during training camp drills.

[–] Sabres00@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Defenses eating avocado toast these days.

[–] sabotage_mutineer@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Says the guy who couldn’t handle a little love tap 4 plays into the drive!

[–] Do__Math__Not__Meth@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

These two are saying this stuff as if they aren’t the reasons for a lot of these rules

[–] FloridaMan221@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Not as soft as your Achilles, big dawg

[–] kamekaze1024@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Which remarks are more stupid, this or Irsays?

[–] kolossal@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Ngl but I'd rather have softer hits and healthiest teams.

Big Crybaby Whines About Society Being Soft

[–] GoOnThereHarv@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I get a kick out of these people on fucking reddit of all places calling Aaron Rodgers soft. Let's be real here , dude has probably put more time and energy into this sport than most of the people have put into showering everyday on here.

[–] crosswatt@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Proving once again that being a Boomer isn't about an age, its about inherent grumpiness.

[–] WiscoPopPM@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Every time you talk you make me soft

[–] comicsanscatastrophe@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This guy's insufferable. Not everything is culture war bullshit, Aaron.

[–] SaintsPast@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Bro, body weight tackles of QBs are a 15 yard penalty because of you, and you’re complaining people are soft? Just go away already, stop wasting my brain cells.

[–] Cleavon_Littlefinger@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You know the more I hear from Aaron Rodgers, the more I support his Achilles' decision to fuck him over four snaps in.

[–] RakiRamirez@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Please Rodgers, rush your recovery as much as you can, I'm in desperate need of a good laugh

[–] saintjimmy43@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You play a game for a living.

[–] Yeangster@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I look forward to Aaron Rodgers’s post- NFL career as an anti-woke talking head.

[–] Imusingtiltcontrols_@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

God what an idiot

[–] tsgram@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

“Old Man Yells at Cloud” vibes

[–] Z3r0c00lio@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

There a few QBs who have benefitted more from “football going soft” than Rodgers and Brady, you couldn’t bump into them without getting flagged

[–] ImNoSir@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He’s right, old nfl would have ripped his leg off on the field and drank his blood.

[–] MrF_lawblog@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Green Bay legendary QBs and societal morals... Name a worse duo

[–] Broad-Half3135@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

NFL total scoring has been decreasing the past 4 years so if anything we’re seeing a lack of offensive talent

[–] amccune@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Rodgers is soft AF. God damn, if the dude could just shut the fuck up.

[–] togsincognito@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Brave words for a guy who has 0 completions in 2023

[–] prenderm@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Its society’s fault the NFL changed the rules

[–] readonlypdf@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Brady and Rodgers: You Crazy kids get off my lawn with your snap face and your Tick Chat

[–] Yeeeoow@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

"Man eith ponytail who travels to Brazil to smoke ayahausca with the natives, thinks society has turned soft".

Back when society was less soft, you were the kind of person they'd flog for smoking reefer and suspicions of being a queer. I think you've benefited from that softening mightily.

[–] VAisforLizards@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If Aaron Rodgers is agreeing with you on something, you are probably wrong
