Looks pretty neat but I'm concerned about the smoothness of the rotation. How many pulses per rotation is the encoder? Is it detented / notched?

There has to be some other way to power it than through the usb-c sticking out the back. Looks about as usefull as a an apple Mighty Mouse charging.
