Just remember...when they say Let's Talk, what they are really doing is listening for those that need to be let go.

I had a similar situation with an employer. Went on mental health leave, came back to multiple brand-fucking new disciplinary actions, constant new barrage of changes, I disclosed my medical conditions and it got worse. Until I literally snapped. Couldn’t work, couldn’t function for 7 months after and I’m still not recovered.

And don’t get me started on what their messaging was about mental health.

Fuck all the talk, fuck not having room for humanity at work, fuck depression, and fuck bad things happening if someone’s brave enough to try and get help.

Therapy is capitalist "get back to work" propaganda for the vulnerable. Just say/do whatever they have to do to get you back on the job.

I just assumed it's the layoff signup form.

It's the employee surveillance line. If they ever need to let you go they'll just dig around in your file to find a good reason. Never trust someone on your employer's payroll to be in your corner over theirs.

My wife was having issues directly related to (caused by) things at work, and she called their mental health line.

The number led to an automated system that forwarded you to somewhere else, and even though it was solidly in operating times and away from meal times, it went to a messaging system

She never got a call back. Nothing was ever mentioned again.

0/10, MAGNA does not care about it's employees or factory safety.

Anyone else here had their whole employee assistance program switched to Dialogue?

The companies that provide actual mental help is too damn rare. You may get some once you get burnt out, but that's basically a bandaid.

That's because under capitalism the optimal strategy is "work to extinction" because then they can't leave to work for another company.
