Dhop was begging for a job lol

[–] Varolyn@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Chiefs second half offense might legit be a bottom 3 offense in the NFL.

[–] HaakonX@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I want Mahomes, Kelce and Reid to explain the Chiefs 2nd half offense with Onion Rings, Burgers, and Nuggies

[–] MinaElesia@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Holy fuck, those drops were painful to watch. Poor Mahomes. Game went by quick for me, but I thought SNF was a bit more fun this week.

[–] cy1763@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The Chiefs not making a swing for a WR prior to the deadline is head scratching.

[–] callmecyke@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If not for Zach Wilson balling out because Donna Kelce was watching we’d be 10-0 rn

[–] usernameisusername57@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The Chiefs are learning the harsh truth that so many other organizations have learned before them: it is hard to build around a great QB year after year when he's taking up a huge portion of the cap and you're getting low draft picks every year.

[–] Brock_Lobstweiler@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Haha, the shade from Hurts in the post-game field interview. "Tell us about that catch that set up the last TD."

"He just ran. And elite hands."

Heh.

[–] Nitroussoda@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

What does Valdez scantling actually do

[–] sprenk@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

But have we played a good team yet?

[–] lkn240@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Tons of whining about the refs in the thread.... while I don't think the game was particularly well officiated - it was pretty fairly officiated. Both teams got their share of shitty calls in their favor.

[–] BurritoTheory@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Finally we get to claim the shit people have been bitching about when playing us all year

We won vs the Chiefs and the Refs

[–] Voidfang_Investments@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Should have paid Hill.

[–] xcaltoona@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Frauds huh?

(we might both just be a lot worse than last year)

[–] D-Voltt@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

In the end, our mediocre offensive play calling wasn't enough to out mediocre KC's wide receiver room. A fun game, but definitely frustrating to watch on both sides.

[–] One_Shall_Fall@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

By now, I'm pretty sure Brian Johnson for the Eagles has a playbook with a dozen plays.

And the opposing coaches are simply befuddled that he calls the same play over and over and over and over....until it works. Because surely he won't do it again.

[–] Impressive-Shape-557@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Hurts is 13-0 over the last 13 games against teams over .500 entering the game.

[–] ninerninerking@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I can’t stand Sirianni

[–] Alehud42@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I am irrationally mad at the Chiefs for losing to both the Lions and the Eagles this year at home in very winnable games.

[–] ImRightShutUp1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This offense is nothing without JuJu Smith-Schuster.

[–] throwawayjoeyboots@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

The Eagles are the gauntlet.

Buffalo will find out next week.

MVS slammed his helmet on his way to the locker room

[–] AlanIG13@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

What I learned about Chiefs/Eagles this year:

Don’t have a 10 point halftime lead ☠️

[–] buggeyes420@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

At this point, I’m fully expecting a Lions Texans Super Bowl. No team in the league right now looks like any kind of favorite.

[–] Inallahtent@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

These Kansas City Chiefs have 25+ drops. This season. And it's only week 11.

That team let Mahomes, Reid, and KC down. The dude can't throw and catch it. The Kelce fumble.

Can you believe 26 TWENTY SIX DROPS & its week 11 going into week 12.

These receivers have clubs on. Amazon boxes! FEET!!!!

BRUH.... WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS GAME!!!!!

[–] cvtphila225@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I feel like the Eagles just need to string together a tush push or two to build momentum. Jets knew this

[–] jdlnghm@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Congrats to whoever faces us in the playoffs on advancing to the AFC Divisional Round. This team is going nowhere with these WRs and an offense that gets more embarrassing week after week. Sad that we're wasting a year with arguably the best defense in the league with these offensive performances every week. Reid & Nagy aren't doing a good enough job with their gameplanning and playcalling, Mahomes is missing open receivers and ignoring them at times, and then the rare times that a WR both gets open and the QB does hit their hands they drop it. It's super frustrating after being spoiled with insane offensive production the last five years.

[–] PCP_Panda@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I have a feeling Philly post lights and bus stops will be destroyed by celebrations this year

[–] Lithium327@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I stopped watching at half time wtf lol

[–] youtube_and_chill@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Chiefs fans losing it because they might play the AFCCG on the road instead of at home for the first time this decade.

As long as Mahomes is breathing and healthy they're a SB contender, the WRs can't drop every pass.

[–] wat_what_wut@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Chiefs have gone the Packers with Rodgers route: short a great QB worthwhile receivers and expect him to make up the slack. Sad to watch.

[–] isworthtwointhe@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

ARE YOU FUCKING SORRY!?!?

[–] Ornery_Gene7682@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If the Playoffs were decided today this is the AFC standings

  1. Baltimore 8-3
  2. Kansas City 7-3
  3. Jacksonville 7-3
  4. Miami 7-3
  5. Cleveland 7-3
  6. Houston 6-4
  7. Pittsburgh 6-4
[–] theDylanS@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

MVS with perhaps the most egregious case of brick-hands-itis this season with multiple crucial drops.

The Chiefs having nearly 30 drops on the season is crazy

[–] Mr7three2@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Needed 6pts from Aj Brown, full point ppr..... fuck

[–] Hungrycheesemonster@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Mahomes was let down big by his receivers. Can't put the ball in a better position on those final drive passes.

[–] One_Normal_Guy@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

can somebody give me an objective 3rd party opinion on that game cuz i have no clue how to feel rn

[–] Licit_x64@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I know the chiefs shot themselves in the foot a lot but the Eagles being 9-1 not playing their best football against an actual tough schedule is crazy. If this team puts it together (still an if imo) it’s gonna be scary.

[–] Puzzleheaded_Pound31@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Justin Watson, the leading receiver on the night dropping a heroic throw by Mahomes on 4th down for the game could not have summed up the night any better for the chiefs. Absolutely shocking that they thought this receiver group would just get better. This is on Veech

[–] KyWy75@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You ever think about how the Chiefs picked a running back that doesn’t get snaps for them anymore one spot before Tee Higgins? I think about that some times.

[–] trogdor1234@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Too bad the grass was slick,

[–] a_high_old_guy@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

this game was incredible. 2 teams with top defenses, truly showing why they're the best teams in the league, making the other QB look not worth their money. hurts had 1 good drive in the first half, but looked abysmal throughout the rest of it.

KC receivers had some terrible drops, but they don't have to take deep shots or hope to convert a 4th and 25 if the eagles D doesn't clamp down on them in the 2nd half. neither QB reached 200 yards passing. KC got shut out in the second half. that doesn't happen if your defense is bad.

I can only hope that any further rematches are as good as this game was.

[–] xxplosive2k282@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Mahomes straight up uncorked those couple of throws on the final drive. His arm never ceases to amaze me.

[–] YEGGSnBACON@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

So Patrick Mahomes throwing his hands on his head every time a play doesn’t go his way is pretty much his signature at this point right?

Media guy: " okay, now we will hear from Marques Valdez Scantling"

MVS: *drops mic

[–] OhMy98@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Drinking game idea: take a shot every time a chiefs receiver manages to not drop the ball. Even abstinent people can play!

[–] Alexactly@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Gonna be honest, Toney looked aggressive out there. Maybe it's PTSD from the super bowl but each time he had the ball i thought he was gonna break every tackle and score.

[–] NavierIsStoked@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Respect and enjoy the ~~peace~~ WINS.

[–] bertmaclynn@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Can the Chiefs get a receiver who won’t drop the ball?

[–] downtimeredditor@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

How the hell did Jets beat them

That alone saves Salehs job despite his awful attempts at improving the offense. Like sure Zach Wilson sucks but why is the O-line so dog water.
