Brian Johnson will never be bad enough for us to fire him (statistically very strong offense), especially cause he’s so well connected with Hurts (knew him since he was a kid). I don’t think he’ll ever be good enough to truly turn the offense into a juggernaut, which it has the potential to be considering the talent. Him getting hired away might be the only way to get rid of him.
It all comes down to growth. Can Brian Johnson learn from his mistakes and utilize that to become a better OC? I don’t know the guy personally, so I couldn’t begin to guess how he thinks or perceives things. Next year, if he stays, will be a good test to compare.
Hopefully a team hires Brian Johnson thinking they're hiring Ben Johnson, we get to keep our guy, and you get rid of yours. A true win-win

Ben Johnson is an intriguing option for the Chargers and Brian Johnson or Bobby Slowik could be intriguing for the Panthers.
My list last year was Ben Johnson and Steichen, this year it’s Ben Johnson and Slowik.

I’d love it, but I don’t think there’s a single team in the NFL that incompetent. I think we’re understandably more likely to see Mike Caldwell’s name tossed around than Taylor’s. He’s done a good job with the defense, fortunately I think he’s still probably at least another year away.
