For those of you who have a chest strap for pulse monitoring, could you answer a few questions for me? Thank you!

Is it worth buying one?
When I connect it to the Apple Watch via Bluetooth, does the watch's built-in sensor stop working?
When I take it off from my chest, does the Apple Watch sensor become functional again, or do I need to take additional steps?
