Like the title says my watch will keep vibrating when I’m using Apple Maps and shows the notification saying “compass can be affected by magnetic materials…” which is quite annoying since I’m not even using any magnetic things to begin with.

I’m using series 9 and iPhone 15 Pro btw

Anyone else have a similar experience? Any solutions?

Thanks in advance.

This has started happening to me on my S9. It began after the latest watchOS update, and it only occurs in the car.

Yeah same! My S5 had no issues like this. And this only happens in the car when connected to Apple CarPlay and using the Apple Maps.

My husband and I are having the same issue. He’s using a Nike sport band and I’m using a cheap non-magnetic band from Amazon. Whomp. 😭

Same, only occurs inside my car. I’m wearing a non magnetic band. Curious… any of you with the issue also drive an EV?

I am having this same issue and it just started happening. My phone, watch, watch band (silicone band from Apple), car, etc. have not changed or been modified in any way other than software updates on the Apple devices. Haven’t been able to figure it out but I am sure it’s a software issue at least in my case.
