It’s way more likely to be the charging cable than the laptop. See if you can borrow one or find a cheap one to test with, both a difference cable and a different power brick.

The pins in the other port are probably damaged if it only works on one. You could also check if there’s anything in the port. Another thing to check is using a different cable.

Take it to the Apple Store, the employees should be able to help you. Do you have AppleCare+ on it too?

It’s a shame you didn’t get this resolved on day one. Take it to Apple.

Probably a port protection. Due to a faulty charger. I believe this is solvable with an SMC reset :)

You haven't given us much info about the Mac. Which MacBook model? Does it have a MagSafe charging port on the left side, would be closest to the upper left side? From your comment, "left bottom port" not at all sure if you mean the MagSafe connection, or one of the USB-C connections, if it is a newer Mac. If it does charge in the MagSafe connection, then charge it there, as it is supposed to do . . . it's fine in that case. Otherwise agree with the reply that say get it to the AppleStore - or at least an Apple Authorized repair source.

Judging by the Touch Bar it’s safe to assume it’s an intel mbp so no MagSafe

It's a late Intel or an M1/2

So As others have asked what’s the build and specs?

Was it bought new or used Where and how

At the minimum I’d go and speak to the seller and see why it won’t charge or boot

Apple Store. Without charge they will put it on one of their good chargers and cables. Give it a shot
