Kevin Warren is here to right this ship. Legitimately one should stop watching if you thought this team was going to be good this year. Everyone said this team was going to be bad, and this sub got all pissy because everyone else knew it

Kevin Warren is here to build a new stadium.

[–] letseditthesadparts@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

He has the authority to fire anyone and everyone.

[–] Bob2456@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Doesn’t mean he’s the right guy to do it. His entire career has been spent on the business side of football teams and then the big ten. What makes anyone think the McCaskeys hired him for his football knowledge rather than his business abilities?

[–] letseditthesadparts@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Point is he’s been in football and surrounded by it. Sorry to disappoint you but it’s a business first and the players treat it as a business too. Last I checked pace came up in football, Chris Ballard who everyone wanted until recently had plenty of experience. Ultimately Kevin Warran gets to be the guy that starts a new legacy, or he just fails like everyone else. But I’m willing to see how it turns out.

He has full authority over the team.

[–] dayungbenny@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Full authority to do whatever McCaskey tells him to do. He just came from the Vikings, where he was tasked with getting a new stadium built, and then left when that was done. Anyone that thinks that is not exactly what is happening here is an idiot.

He's a fucking coward. He continually surrounds himself with yes men that don't know a thing about football. They hire vanilla coaches that never challenge them or call out their bullshit.

And the worse part is us fools, that continue to drop thousands on tickets, food, and merch on a team that really hasn't done jack shit in 40 years. We celebrate mediocrity because that's all this organization has accomplished.

We're all clowns for dealing with this bullshit, nothing will ever change until ownership is gutted.

You nailed it dude

[–] BR1M570N3@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Pencil neck dweeb

[–] MikeBinfinity@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Didn't he stepped down, and Kevin Warren took his job?

[–] 37sms@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Genuinely might be the dumbest billionaire in America

[–] OkBoomer6919@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Wasn't that my pillow guy a billionaire before he lost most of it defending Trump?

[–] Slow_Astronomer_3536@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I'd agree, if Elon didn't exist.

How much did he pay for the platform formerly known as Twitter? A company that's never made much profit, and relied heavily on ad money he drove off.

“I’m just a fan, not a football evaluator” Such a wuss-ass way to try to absolve yourself of responsibility for this franchise. Should be ashamed. If he’s a fan like he says he is and cares about winning both Flus and Getsy will be gone tomorrow and fuck away this franchise’s tradition of not firing coaches midseason

[–] Toews1978@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Ahh yes the annual George presser at the end of every disappointment of a season. Don't forget, George hates Green Bay. What a shitstain

[–] inorite234@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

And that's the reason why the Bears will always suck.

He may be just a fan, but then that means he has zero business evaluating the people who hire and evaluate the players.

[–] ubeen@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

And how much money have they made since then? Don't like it and want change stop showing up / watching the shit product.

[–] 3mta3jvq@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I won’t contribute a dime to this buffoon and his new stadium dreams.

[–] ItsEaster@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Like he gives a shit. Dude is living the good life and that’s literally all that matters to him. Doubt he even watches the games.

[–] samurai5625@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If I was the mayor of a suburb I'd put out a release saying I'd only want a competent and winning NFL organization to build a stadium in my town

Since 2011 under his leadership the Bears have had:

2 playoff births (WC losses) 5 head coaches

Divisional placements 1st - 1, 2nd - 2, 3rd - 4, 4th - 6 (counting current season)

A team’s success starts with ownership. McCaskey just ain’t it

[–] LegalComplaint@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

How many quality youth soccer matches have been refed tho?

[–] Perfect_Bird_5399@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He looks like a weasel

[–] MilkMan1880@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The poster boy for Nepotism in America, Good Ol’ Goofy George.

[–] GrumpyMeatBag@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

When his mom dies. My theory is the family won’t sell (or fire a head coach during the season) until Virginia McCaskey passes away.

[–] Nocheese22@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If nepotism had a face

[–] mdbonbon@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Such a punchable lookin face

[–] calculated_brutality@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The only way to get change is stop paying money for tickets and merchandise. But most fans don’t care and keeps feeding these people so there is no incentive to change

[–] TheMetabrandMan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You couldn’t find a picture I want to punch more than this one.

[–] marcusalonsox@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Definition of Nepotism and Loser!

[–] eulynn34@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Winning is secondary as long as the games are sold out every Sunday.

[–] CrazyJo3@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Glad we know the real problem

[–] drummerboysam@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

All I'm sayin' is I've never seen anyone wear that mustache who wasn't a pedo.

[–] JefSpicoli@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Fan $upport

[–] alexamerling100@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Sell the team

[–] qcotmabot@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

People are still paying insane ticket prices to go watch this team. I don’t think he cares about wins he cares about $$$

[–] marketinequality@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

God how do we end up with him and Reindsdorf as our sports team owners.

[–] Equivalent_Willow567@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He actually looks like he knows nothing about football

[–] inorite234@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If I'm not mistaken, his record is 3rd worst since taking over.
