Really hated kicking the field goal there to get it to a 12 point lead when it was 4th and 1. Tush push again and it's like a 90% chance of a first down, even if they went nowhere after that it'd have burned enough clock to seal the win.
Problem is their short yardage plays suck.
Completely and totally 100% of the blame for the loss goes to Getsy.

I don't mean this as a joke, but I am actually surprised it was that high. Two TD's in 4 minutes with all their timeouts against a poor pass defense feels like more than a 2% chance.
So here is the question; knowing how god fucking awful this coaching staff is, do we keep Fields for another year? Maybe trade the Panthers 1st for a kings ransom to move back to 3 and take mhj and another 1st for 2025?
I was thinking it may look something like that. My guess is trading back to 2 with the Giants to get MHJ. If Fields keeps having solid starts like this that would be the best case scenario

Anyone pointed out how this was a historical loss yet? A team with that many turnovers in their favor being up by 12 with 3 mins to go has NEVER lost an NFL game, since the start in 1932.

I do not believe a coach should be able to survive two games like that on one season, especially not a coach whose output is so aggressively unimpressive.
You cannot judge Fields having the coaching staff that he plays for. He has had a lack of talent and quality players too, although things are improving. I say keep fields and use the picks to bolster the offensive line and defensive front 7.
I remember seeing this sub vigorously downvote anytime it was suggested Eberflus is a bad coach.
Everyone can see that he needs to go. But he wont be because "this is the way we've always done it." The morons in charge are afraid of change. They're afraid of doing something different for once so they rely on what they've done before because it's comfortable for them even if the end result sucks.
