Their last "drive" looked designed to intentionally lose the game. You act like you don't trust the QB to make any plays, you just want to burn the clock, and then on 3rd and long you heave it down the field.
Chicago Bears
Really hated kicking the field goal there to get it to a 12 point lead when it was 4th and 1. Tush push again and it's like a 90% chance of a first down, even if they went nowhere after that it'd have burned enough clock to seal the win.
Problem is their short yardage plays suck.
Completely and totally 100% of the blame for the loss goes to Getsy.
Not even a question.
This guy could not successfull call plays for a high school team.
Matt "6-22" Eberflus didn't want to use any TO at the end.
You cant make this shit up lmao
Okay hear me out. Keep him and get a better draft pick. Then fire HC and OC at end of season as is tradition.
If we can’t win this game we ain’t winning any game
Worst HC in franchise history.
He's one of the worst HC in NFL history
Idk man, we had Josh McDaniels this year, Nathaniel Hackett last year, Urban Meyer a couple of years ago… actually who am I kidding, Eberflus is worse than all of them
Yep, if this ain’t rock bottom, I quit.
Maybe close to NFL history too right?
Second collapse of the season.
They should have left him in Tampa in week 2.
Time to Flush Flus and co.
Look at what is going on in Vegas after the coaching change. He ain’t it and this fanbase will have to probably watch this nightmare for another season.
Got to 98.8% actually
It was 98.8% at some point
Lemme say it again
The QB is not the problem
Eberflus and Getsy playcalled scared in the end and lost another game.
I hear Getsy may be HC next year…
I just can’t understand it.
How does this happen twice this year?
Think second time we loose with 98 percent win possible. So 50 games playing and you loose one like that.
Bears doing this twice now.
Flus doesn’t know how to coach when the team has the lead.
“Gotta execute better”, typical Flus response to these types of close losses, sigh
Flus doesn’t know how to coach
FTFY
I don't mean this as a joke, but I am actually surprised it was that high. Two TD's in 4 minutes with all their timeouts against a poor pass defense feels like more than a 2% chance.
So here is the question; knowing how god fucking awful this coaching staff is, do we keep Fields for another year? Maybe trade the Panthers 1st for a kings ransom to move back to 3 and take mhj and another 1st for 2025?
I was thinking it may look something like that. My guess is trading back to 2 with the Giants to get MHJ. If Fields keeps having solid starts like this that would be the best case scenario
Serious question, who possibly could step in as coach if Flus was hypothetically fired. We have no one else, and its not like Getsy is competent enough to do it
Leaverflus
Pretty sure the mccaskeys have won enough money betting against the team to buy the stadium they want
Eberlose needs to go.
Lmfao. The bears are who we thought they were.
It hit 98.8 ;)
May need to go to the game there next year and also Windsor too again
Anyone pointed out how this was a historical loss yet? A team with that many turnovers in their favor being up by 12 with 3 mins to go has NEVER lost an NFL game, since the start in 1932.
Its 48-0 those teams win...until today.
The Eberflus 2023 Bears are the 1 in the 48-1 now.
I believe our denver chokejob was the largest blown lead for the franchise in decades as well.
I do not believe a coach should be able to survive two games like that on one season, especially not a coach whose output is so aggressively unimpressive.
You cannot judge Fields having the coaching staff that he plays for. He has had a lack of talent and quality players too, although things are improving. I say keep fields and use the picks to bolster the offensive line and defensive front 7.
I remember seeing this sub vigorously downvote anytime it was suggested Eberflus is a bad coach.
Everyone can see that he needs to go. But he wont be because "this is the way we've always done it." The morons in charge are afraid of change. They're afraid of doing something different for once so they rely on what they've done before because it's comfortable for them even if the end result sucks.
Hasn't Detroit been through enough?
why is he and getsy still employed and not fired? other teams changed coaching during the season too.
that tells me, that management and ownership are in on it and want to tank the season.
As a Lions fan, I approve this message.
Hey maybe he can be your OC next year
