Ah the Mike Singletary 2010 approach

[–] Proof_Ad3692@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I'm so sick of both of these people. The NFC South should be relegated.

[–] DM725@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I guess they're hoping to lose more games?

Damn are Ridder's hands coated in oil before every game

Melly vs Melvin

[–] Pope_Beenadick@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If you add the turnovers into his total completions, he really gets the ball to someone else nearly every play

Red zone fumbles are back on the menu, boys!

[–] TeddysRevenge@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If Cousins leaves Minnesota the Falcons need to make a big offer to get him.

A good QB would completely change the trajectory of their team.

[–] MiaCannons@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

[–] MavsFanForLife@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

[–] lkn240@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Maybe we can sucker them into a 2nd or 3rd for Fields in the offseason.

[–] indecentbob@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Knowing Poles we’d somehow GIVE a 2nd in that trade

Arthur Smith is trying to outdo the Patriots for most dysfunctional QB room of the season

RIP Falcons offense (Taylor's version)

[–] Unlucky-Position-16@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (6 children)

Can’t wait for the Falcons to not draft a QB again and be in this mid off all of next year too!

[–] elefante88@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

They will trade for kyler

[–] scbtl@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

And I’ll do it again

[–] cartocaster18@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It's mind blowing that Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts, and Drake London's rookie deals will all be wasted 😆

Honestly this makes sense. The calls to go to Heinicke were a classic example of the backup QB always being the most popular guy in town, he was really equally awful. Ridder’s not gonna make your chances of winning any worse, he’s had the best game a Falcons QB had this season by far, he’s a better runner, and you might as well see what you have in him before next season

Someone arrest Arthur Smith.

[–] bdillathebeatkilla@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (19 children)

Have we considered just not using a QB at all?

[–] Ganjake@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I hear Joe Flacco may be available.

[–] MurDoct@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

What is this team doing

[–] SaggyBallz99@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Since Ridder does not enjoy throwing to London and Pitts, I choose to view this as positive news for the Bijan agenda

While I'm a huge Taylor Heinicke Stan (Washington Fan) and wanted him to start, Ridder was winning games even-though they weren't pretty. You can't bench a guy who winning games - wasn't he undefeated at home prior to his benching?

[–] Cautrica1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It’s not like Taylor heinicke was lighting it up or anything lol. Seems like a lot of you people don’t even watch falcons games (I sure as hell don’t)

[–] Ok_Run_8184@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Is this another symptom of 'soon to be fired coach ' disease?

[–] Returningtoparadise@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Somehow ridder has returned

[–] No-Bluejay-5934@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

...

Why though?

Heinicke posted more consistent stats than Ridder and he turned the ball over less. What did he do to lose it? Why did you even hand him the job if you're just going to tear it away again?

[–] PPtheShort@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Should have never benched him in the first place

[–] WeGetSickBsTickets@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Just saw Nate Tice rise from his knees at a Walmart.

We really should have tried harder to get Lamar this offseason

[–] finkalicious@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Smith would just have Lamar hand it off to Patterson and Algeier all day with the occasional sweep to Jonnu while Bijan, Pitts and London do all the blocking
