So i created a couple automations one of which turns bluetooth and 4g off whenever i’m connected to wifi and one that turns bluetooth and 4 on when i’m disconected from wifi.

The problem is that by the time i leave my house and get to my car wifi stays connected even tough i barely have any signal and bluetooth doesn’t turn on and i can’t connect to my car automatically.

How can i fix this?

Sounds like your automation is doing exactly what you set it up to do. If you’re still connected then it won’t turn on Bluetooth and data.

Maybe someone else can comment to confirm but would it be possible to have it turn on/off based on location?

Well his issue seems to be not connecting to his car, and I believe location would be too inaccurate to be of help here.

I use location to turn off my Wifi when I leave the house and back on when I return. The diameter is variable size as small as 228ft it seems.
