Can't it pick the drone up on radar? I understand not wanting to waste a missile on it, but you should at least see the drone coming and gtfo before it gets there and spots you...

MODERATORS
Drones, especially smaller ones, are not easy to pick up on radar. For one it’s difficult to tell if you’re picking up a drone or a bird. And there are a lot of birds out there in the skies.
They probably didn't have enough time to setup.
