Definitely LTB_iel. I really hope the new iteration can find its former glory again.

Gonna miss the apex legends subreddit
r/imaginarysliceoflife
I am going to miss my programming subreddits and r/halo. A lot of good folks over there.
Tiki. Also if anyone can link me Lemmy tiki I'd appreciate it.
I founded r/recumbent - then handed it off to better folks once it took off. I still mod r/NOC and r/Apraxia. They'll all die. That's OK.
It's the people, really. Sure there are a lot of memesters and low-value content. But when you found folks that took a discussion seriously and LISTENED and put thought into their replies. The very best was when -after a few rounds- someone I started out disagreeing with taught me something. And I also taught them. Philosophy, AI Art, Music, News, Sysadmin, even sometimes in Politics. BestOf is an obvious big loss.
People need to bring r/translator here!

For my other interests in music and technology, there are lots of other places to find community. These were more special to Reddit.
Most of r/Criterion were being arrogant all week, wavering between "slacktivism" and "who cares". Turns out they were helpless to the whims of the moderating team. That should give them enough time to watch their collection instead of just buying for show. ๐คฃ
But I'm definitely going to miss that place including r/NBA, r/FreeFolk, r/PHGamers, and a bunch of others.
r/darkart r/art r/noise r/sixthworldmusic r/nosleep
HighQualityGifs and their savagely, wonderful Gif Tournament
For me, it's going to be r/SkyGame (the game itself speaks of humanity at its best, coupled with scenescapes and moments that will leave you agape in awe and pain), r/HFY (astounding, original stories and serials about humanity at its best, even through moments of suffering within the wider multiverse), and r/FilipinoHistory (an intelligently-enough discourse space for all things Philippine history, culture, and society as a whole).
I miss being able look up any niche thing I was into at the time and find an active community discussing it and making memes.

If Liverpool played at 2 in the morning in my timezone, it didn't matter because I could avoid spoilers and download the full game to watch after I woke up. Not to mention that I could then share it with my granddad, too.
