I already made a "Padres" community for my local baseball team. Here's hoping some other Padres fan hop aboard here.
I have been trying to make an "Ask Lemmy" community, but the site just hangs when I click submit. Any ideas?
Woohoo, another SD local! I'll definitely join in the Padres community, just as soon as I figure out how to find it... (I'm still learning and still a bit confused)
Yes, I had the same thing when creating a "Greece" community. It happens when a community with that name has already been created and deleted. Message one of the admins and he will fix it for you!
Have you noticed that it takes forever to submit posts and comments?

Would love to see more car communities, unfortunately I don't expect the super niche car subreddits to move to lemmy unless it really blows up.

I realise a lot of these probably exist already, but I couldn't find them.
Had anyone else had an issue subscribing to lemmygrad communities? Whenever I paste those into the search on lemmy.one, it returns no results.
