I’m with Aspinall here, but the precedent of champions vacating as soon as they are injured is a relatively new one. Unfortunately I can’t see UFC forcing Jones to vacate since he’s Dana’s GOAT.

Jones went 3 years without a fight, fuck him. Any other fighter without his clout would have been cut for all the shit he’s done aside from that. He has some serious Dana White privilege though, so we’ll see what happens

He's not wrong. If this were any other champ, it would already be done. Jamahal and Jiri vacated like how you can't fire me, because I quit.
