Apple Pay not working after deactivating Assistive Touch (alien.top)

I tried out assistive touch the other day coz it looked convenient since I can just activate apple pay without pressing the side button with my other hand. After realizing that it was kinda unreliable (it either fails to come out, or fails to confirm with assistive touch, it's horrible if you're boarding the bus), I decided to turn it off. But right now even with assistive touch off, I can't use my watch normally. These are the situations I have right now even with assistive touch off (and activating Pay through the side button)

Card pops up but "Hold Near Reader" does not appear.
"Hold Near Reader" appears but it won't work when you tap to pay.

Anyone came across such problems before and managed to solve it?

i’ve also experienced the same, haven’t found a solution yet

i tried removing cards and readding them, no dice

might do a factory reset soon
