My kid wasn't responding on his apple watch yesterday and when I looked under "Find My" on my iPhone it couldn't update his/ the watches location. It said the last location was updated 50min ago. Over the next half hour it never updated until he got home. Is there a more robust option for location tracking?

I'm on Xfinity cellular and my kids watch is on Truphone.

I’m interested as well, run into a similar situation with my son’s Apple Watch 4 with cellular.

Garmin bounce watch? Depends on how old your kid is.

There’s an app call life360. I never used it, but I’m told it’s the best location tracking ever. Unfortunately it doesn’t support apple watch. There’s another app called findmykids:location tracker. My co-worker has it installed in her daughter’s Apple Watch and it seems to be more reliable than ‘find my’ app.

I’ve been trying to setup my kids Apple Watch on findmykids. How did she get it to work?

My people are upset that the FindMyKids app also has microphone listening capabilty, which seems like a big privacy violation to many people (of not only the kid's privacy but that of others around them). What's the best alternative to that app that has the same kind of better GPS tracking than the Apple built-in "Find My" tracking (which people in this thread seem to be having trouble with) but just doesn't have the microphone feature?
