Zuck hands out gps and microphone enabled flashlights to all of the fellow humans so they can see.
Because he is defederated he shouldn’t be able to see other moves either so for him the lights are still on.
Maybe he receives updates about the board state from elsewhere.
Its a tricky move for OP i feel but i do like the irony of no one can see the flash lights zuck tries to give them to help them see.
But zucchini is defederated, nobody can receive his moves.
Autocorrect turned zucc into zucchini, and you know what? I stand by its decision.
