I know this question gets asked a lot. But I want to see what percentage of people use Safari compared to Chrome. I have been using Chrome, but it eats all my memory. I want to switch to Safari, but I'm not sure if it's good enough or not.

Safari is great. If you have an iPhone your bookmarks on safari show up on your phone and Mac, and change if you edit them on either device. I use chrome for google applications though, and sometimes certain sites won't work on safari for random reasons. I always consider switching to a different browser but it's so useful to have the universal bookmark thing.

Brave browser

I use Firefox. My gaming PC can't run Safari and my company issued phone is an Android.

It was just easier to switch to a platform agnostic browser.

Safari does what I need it to do though

Edge. No questions.

Edge being based off Chromium has access to all of Chrome.

And Edge has vertical tab support which is such a beauty (grouping, etc).

Also, Edge has copilot and split screen (you can have 2 windows on in 1 windows).

And it's more battery and memory efficient than Chrome.

Many others think alike to: https://www.reddit.com/r/MicrosoftEdge/comments/siime4/edge_on_macos_is_actually_much_better_than_chrome/
