Rhinoshield case chipping (alien.top)

I got the rhinoshield clear case, and i like it, except one thing. It has some transparent coating that peeling/chipping and its annoying. Is anybody experienced this?

Is there a protective plastic layer you’re supposed to peel off? Otherwise Ive had rhinoshield cases for years and never had that issue
