If we had a choice, keep one, Fields or Flus next year, it's Fields for sure.
Chicago Bears
Yet
It won't happen this year. He will not be around next year.
Bears at full strength if Edmunds play might pull it off
Ain’t happening this week neither.
“We’re gonna take the North”
He never said when
He barely wins any games, lol. Dude sucks.
Can’t believe this is the first I’m hearing of Eberflus being a bad coach
makes sense considering he's only won what? 6 of 27 games?
Well it can't be 0-11 since we had 6 division games last year and 2 this year no need to make it even worse than it is lol
This is the underlying stat that I think is in our favor for getting Flus fired. Not only has he not won, but they also haven't been very competitive. Somebody asked the sub yesterday what it would take for you to accept Flus getting another year. For me, it's going at least 3-1 in these final four division games.
The Lions should annihilate us on offense. They scored at will on the Chargers.
Yuckkkkk
It’s kinda hard to believe Flus turned Indy around
This team is shit. It’s not surprising.
Until Sunday
Poles speaks very highly of him.
Fire that useless fuck as well, please
Yeah, as bad as he is, Claypool and Velus et al aren’t Flus’s fault.
Why hire a new head coach if you’re going to saddle him with Poles?
Sadly, letting Poles trade for Sweat means he’s sticking around.
I mean he’s barely won any non-division games
I have seen multiple posts suggesting we retain him if he wins a few more games. He could win out and his ass should still be kicked to the curb - the dude wins less than a quarter of his games
Yep, if they win out it will be because Justin bailed him out by playing well. But that's not going to happen, because Justin does not play well against good teams.
6 to be exact
Trestman was 13-19. He lasted two seasons. Same front office.
Eberflus is 6-21. He’s been here 2-1/2 seasons.
What the FUCK is wrong with this front office???!!!
Trestman started off stronger the first season and we just came short of playoffs... his 2nd season just seemed to get progressively worse and i dont imagine a 3rd season looked promising to change that direction
Flus won 3 games first season.... but can we at least give him the benefit of inheriting a bad team at ground zero of rebuild? I dont think a winning season is a default for anyone taking a HC job for the 2022 Bears... Hes only had one off season of Pole's acquiring good new talent for him. I'd say give him this whole season to prove he can get some more wins and create more foundation for one more continuation, and see a final record before we decide if he's not it.
To add to this... Trestman did inherit a team that had a solid winning record the previous year with Lovie. And then completely butchered the rest of the defensive strength the team had.
Oh man, club dub gonna be lit when he does! 🥳🥳
And people here think "oh we should give him a chance"
We are taking the North and never giving is back
Well, I'm not apologizing for him, but he has had a shit roster for the majority of his tenure. Mack, Roquan and Quinn were traded off. Khalil Herbert was injured. Can't win much if your only top players are Cairo Santos and Jaylen Johnson. Am I missing any other standout players?
Eberflus doesn’t get much for excuses from me, but these bad years are on Poles as much as Eberflus and Fields. Clean house this off-season. Coach/GM/QB
They’ll probably win 3 of 7 games left this year and decide to keep him. In fact, I’m real confident that if they beat the Packers he’s not going anywhere.
Great job mods. Inaccurate post that stays up for 2 hours
So sorry we're not at your beck and call and have other things in life.
Fields has only won 1 divisional game in 3 years (against DET his rookie year).
i dont know what you people were expecting during a full rebuild; but this is it;
Not quite what I thought Poles meant when he said we were going to 'take the North and never give it back'.
The best QB he’s beaten is Bryce Young
I would say Sam Howell.
Howell is very clearly better than Young as of right now (obviously that could change over the years).
Jesus this sub is depressing.
Not related, but Jim Harbaugh's .695 Win % is fifth highest all time in the NFL.
It is ridiculous that people are saying Bears 🐻 might give him another year, then again it is the Bears
This guy needs to be fired
Shiiiiiiittttttteeee÷ee
He’s consistent at least
We fired lovie because he couldn’t beat the packers anymore….just saying
I don't know how that blows your mind though. The shredding of the team last year was intentional and we have come to terms with that as a fan base. That's why we're so excited about the trade haul Poles got last year.
Flus coaches two divisional games this year. One was expected to be a close win against Green Bay, and the other... I figured we'd get slaughtered from the first snap. 0-2 this year instead of an expected 1-1 isn't a shock.
No end in sight.
I'm old enough to remember when not beating the Packers could get a coach with a winning record fired.
Yeah dude this guy sucks ass if anyone hasn't noticed
Probably because he sucks.
