I’ve read time and time again that people want a „universal back gesture“. Can someone pls explain how the swipe to the right/down to go back is not sufficient?

I'd like to be able to hide work apps when I'm not working.

They kind of tried with the check-in feature but what I want to be able to do is just anytime my phone hits a certain location then automatically message somebody. I use shortcuts for some of the stuff but I would just like to be able to leave the house and arrive at a different location and automatically send my wife a text message with my location. It would be great for kids as well.

Siri speech to text is the worst thing that has ever existed. And Siri in general. You ask her a question and she just pulls up a Google search meanwhile Alexa fuckin tells you what you want to know.

Not just iPhone but every phone should have this brought back, the physical keyboard that sidekicks and blackberry used to have. And also bring back the 3 Dimensional icons back to Home Screen, make everything 3D everything again I’m sure I speak for a lot of people when I say we’re sick of the simplistic aRt sTyLe/boring 2 dimensional logos that’s been around for over a decade. It’s too depressing. Bring back pop up colorful everything

A lot of apps now have Face ID locking, but agree it should be universal now.

Battery life. My husband has a Samsung galaxy that he plugs in at night and is good all day. I have to plug mine in several times a day and he uses his phone more than I do. Does anyone else have the same issue.

The brightness. The lightest setting is still not always bright enough in the daylight and the darkest setting is like a flashlight in the middle of the night.

The option to just the numpad keypad that is built into iOS when you go into NumberOnly fields.

Its small, but there were times when i had to input numbers for something and this would've been SO Useful since its already POSSIBLE. it would just be nice to invoke it at will

This is what I miss the most about Android. I could give anyone my phone and they could only use the apps that were unlocked.

Now If I were to give my iPhone to someone they can go through all my stuff..

A battery that lasts more than a day. Somehow, we've come to accept the idea that something our lives revolve around might die before we can get home to a charger.

Also, telephoto lenses on non-Pro models. I almost never need a distorted ultra-wide picture, but I do constantly wish I could zoom in on subjects, during concerts or travel.

Android has consistent "back" functionality pretty much everywhere, either with the traditional button or with a gesture. I really missed that when I switched to iPhone, and still do a bit.

Less flakey home app, shortcuts being more intuitive and powerful, a better Siri to a point where apps are in the background and fully integrated (so many apps used on a weekly basis for travel ticket purchases etc, but Siri should know this and assist), airdrop between devices on different networks (work and personal), better shutter control on the camera (Astro mode)

Swipe right should always be [back], close all apps, seperate app sound man asap, transfering files should not stop when the app is closed or screen lock engages. Why is it impossible to transfer a file from iphone storage to anywhere but the cloud? I switched from android to ios recently, and this are the functions I am missing.

1. Siri is the worst virtual assistant on the market, and I’m not being hyperbolic.

2. For 15 Pro users, let the action button do more than one thing. Let us set a press and double press.
