A signal booster
Apple
A place for Apple news, rumors, and discussions.
A really good battery
No notch display
Back camera integrated with the case
No lateral buttons (touch commands)
A folding display
A full notchless and Dynamic Island-less screen
iPhone - iPhone 8. Pick any of those and stop complaining about having additional screen space ffs
A feature to make you hot and beautiful
An actual use for the "most powerful chip in a smartphone" outside of playing a few games. I want multitasking as the number one. switching back and forth between apps is not mulitasking.
No notch display, a 120hz display for all there phone, in display Touch ID, an improved Siri and a clear all button for all recently used apps.
Many things I would say. Ultimately left Android back in the day over privacy concerns and believe it or not Facetime. Rest of friends and family were into it. It just works. But... I mis the lack of customization options for the home screen. I think the base screen should pack at least 90hz and the dynamic island is just goofy. I love the iPhone but they seem to be loosing some innovation.
Secure Folder like samsung.
Good notifications system
Anti aircraft cannon and missile defense capabilities.
A better screen. 60Hz refresh rate on an $800 phone in 2023 is a war crime.
Draw over other apps.
On Android when driving I use an app that shows me an overlay telling me where speed cameras are located and Google Maps for navigation.
Not possible on iPhone.
Also, bind another action when the action button is pressed/double pressed. I would like to have silent/ring switch when pressed and held and camera on double press.
Waze does that but I'm almost sure Google maps does here too
Siri could be so much better
Siri could be better and support more languages.
Lock apps, swipe from right.
Multitasking.
Swipe commands that can be used to open apps on the Home Screen, choices of icons, 120hz for all, and AI integration.
I honestly don't know if i'm stupid but...developers to make better quality games/apps (i really care about the games, i'm team iphone because it blew my mind years ago @ the quality of games like Ark). Reading the specs of my iphone 15 pro, I was pretty shocked. I upgraded from 11 to 15pro & some of the most demanding stuff (like Arena Breakout) feels like barely if any improvement quality wise. When I look at the specs, I was blown away @ the powerhouse a 15 pro was.
- Impossible to clear cache manually
- No possibility to install something from internet.
- 90hz
- Real fast charging
An app drawer would be nice. I don’t need Apple grouping all my apps together for me. Just a place where I could easily see all my apps in alphabetical order, plus the option to hide them.
On the topic of app organization. Can Apple just fuck off with the dumb little wiggle game you have to play in order to rearrange apps. It’s bad enough they’re locked to a grid, but ffs can I move an app around without having extreme difficulty NOT putting it into a folder or fucking up the order of other apps around it? Don’t get me started on moving an app from one screen to another and having a different app just disappear and reappear on a blank page for no reason. It’s like they make it difficult on purpose.
And Bluetooth. Can I please use headphone that aren’t made by Apple and have them work consistently? Why is it every time I have earbuds in and I get a phone call, the sound come thru my earbuds at first, and then switches to phone speaker a few seconds later? This just happened to me with my Sony earbuds- I got a call, answered thru my buds, then for no reason the sound started coming from my phone speaker. I take my earbuds out and begin speaking on my phone and then the sound starts back through my earbuds again. It does the same thing in my car- both my 11pm did it, and now my 15pm does it.
Smart WiFi. I feel like my first ever Android phone had this over 10 years ago. If my WiFi signal is weaker than my cell signal it should use whichever is stronger. The fact that I can’t stand at the end of my driveway and my phone not realize the WiFi is too weak is annoying. I have to get far enough away to completely disconnect before it switches to cell service, so every night when I walk my dogs my music or whatever I’m listening to cuts out for like 10 seconds while it switches to cell service. I remember my old phone would switch back and forth IN MY OWN HOUSE if the signal was weak and there was zero delay. I understand why someone wouldn’t want that feature, but I do.
Sharing a contact directly from messages
A stungun
Ability to lock AirPlay to one video/app
Metro interface
Get rid of the 2 swipe down screens. Have notifications and date/time on the control center. Make it an option at least. How was this the solution they came up with?
Double tap power button to open camera.
A good keyboard. I use swipe typing (dragging my finger across the screen) and it feels so bad on iOS. I tried the Google keyboard and the default one. They are just horrible compared to the android versions. Not only that, but the suggestions are incredibly disappointing as well while typing.
A good virtual assistant. I would love a yolked version of Siri similar to GA on the Pixel.
Split screen and side loading
Be able to change snooze time,be able to delete a contact by swiping then getting the delete option.
Split screen and universal back gesture.
I just wish notifications would go away once I’ve checked them without going through notifications. If I open gmail and look at the email, it should disappear from notifications.
I would like a simple and permanent mark as spam and block forever option on email, notifications, and text messages. I get a bunch of Facebook notifications of “you may know…” when I have never had the FB crap on my iPhone or iPad.
Sideloading coming for EU soon will be amazing and the only dreaded thing for me will be how Siri is so dumb compared to ChatGPT.
It's been 16 years and I still can't put the icons outside where I want to put them, come on.
-Universal back gesture and an option to use it from the right side
-More keyboard settings (Size, vibration strenght, number row, comma and dot)
-Gesture to pull down the control center / notifications
-Splitscreen
Different volume for ringtone and alarm. That’s the thing I miss the most of my Android. My alarm are always at 15% volume, but I want my ringtone at 100% volume. It sucks…
A full screen.
Pause video while shooting
There's a list of things.
Fortnite.

Siri is the worst virtual assistant on the market, and I’m not being hyperbolic.

For 15 Pro users, let the action button do more than one thing. Let us set a press and double press.
