"On behalf of the Ministry of Culture, we make a promise, and I make it publicly here, that we will be the ones who will initiate, so that as soon as possible, Christ the King will be enthroned and become the King of Slovakia,” Štefan Kuffa, the new state secretary of the culture ministry in Slovakia, said.

Poland went through the process of enthroning Jesus Christ in 2016 after a parliament vote. The ceremony, while symbolic and without legal repercussions, was attended by President Andrzej Duda and several MPs.

Because wanting to be King totally aligned with the teachings and practices of Jesus. I swear, modern Christians understand so little of what it means to be Christ-like, that they need a different name for their religion.

And even if Christ did want to be king of a nation, in what bloody realm would he ever choose fucking Slovakia of all places? It's just comical pandering to their religious and conservative supporters.

At least it's Slovakia and not the US.

American Christians really don't get it; they think Jesus could possibly be lord of anything but jack and shit in this country when there's a clause in the Constitution that explicitly states the following:

No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State. (Article I, Section 9, Clause 8)

It's getting to the point where I'm starting to think we should take what Richard Nixon once said about American Jews and apply it to Christians. They should be Americans first, and Christians second. As it is, too many of them are neither.

We have been accused of wanting to “attack and dethrone God” before. I guess you gotta make the ol’ trinity king before you can dethrone them properly.

That would make Poland and Slovakia a personal union...

„After the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus did, they began to say, “Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.” Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself“ (John 6:14-15).

How convenient for whoever has their hand up the Jesus puppet at the time.
