AW Series 9 crown scrolls very easily (alien.top)

So I got AW Series 9 45mm a week ago. I noticed that crown scrolls/spins with almost no resistance like very very easily compared to AW Series 3 that my mom owns. For an example: Taking off my shirt it would open this menu from watch face when you scroll down.

Is it supposed to be like this?

I just picked up a series 9 and noticed that the crown turns with less resistance than my series 8. I’ve read a few people also say the same about their series 9 or ultra 2. Guess it may be normal for this years releases. Other than spinning easily, the crown seems to work just fine.
