I still think the bears have a chance of sliding out of top 2 and keeping fields.....
If they are 1 or 2 then Fields is out... But i think they keep him over QB3.

I’d be fine picking 2. More likely to get MH jr there than 1 which we won’t use on a wr
Thought it was interesting that article didn’t mention the fact that if the panthers tied with the giants, the panthers would still get the first pick with the strength of schedule tie breaker. One more win from the panthers and no wins from the giants, worst case scenario, seems very realistic for the panthers finishing with the number 1 pick.
Same goes for the Patriots. Panthers would have to win two more games than NE/NY and they play each other. We have a great chance at the #1.
AZ at #3? Doesn't make sense considering Murray is back?
AZ is getting pick #5. Patriots and NYG might not win again this year.
They might even drop further. They have one of the hardest SOS in the league so they drop behind almost every tie breaker. I see at least 2 more wins for them.
2 and 5 is still AMAZING and would set us up so well with two elite prospects.
For as much as people are arguing about Williams vs. Harrison, Maye vs. Harrison is probably a more realistic scenario. I actually don't know who I would want in that case.
As long as the Cards don’t finish worse than us every team in front of them will need a QB.
Giants aren’t taking MHJ over OL imo either.
Maye/MHJ at 2/5 is not unrealistic.
How do you not know who you would want? QB is everything in this league, MHJ is worthless if you don’t have someone great throwing him the ball.
I agree, but that only matters if the QB is actually good. If you're not confident in Maye, then taking a later round QB to go with MHJ would make more sense.
There shouldn't be an argument between Maye and Harrison, in that scenario you take Harrison and either roll with Fields or take a QB with the second pick
Lmao, you take Maye and replace Fields. Who do you want at 5? Bo Nix? Lmfao.
I’m worried the Panthers might fire their HC & their interim coach eeks out a couple wins with a rejuvenated team.
The Panthers are a bad team with a bad QB. The only way they are winning is defensive fuckery or random ST plays
And they lost Brian Burns for the season
Is there any chance Young gets good? Kinda early to write off a first overall pick right?
I’d wait until they beef up the line and get him some weapons before panicking if he’s a bust or not
He’s still a rookie and not a third year starter so the jury is still out on him
Someone on here posted interim win rates and if they debut before week 12 it’s like 80% debut wins, just need them to wait till week 13 to let him go.
Lord, I’ve seen you do this for other people, and I’m asking you to please do it for me.
Can someone tell me what happened with the Giants where they'd go from a playoff team on the upswing to a complete and total disaster within one offseason? I know Jones is hurt, but they were awful on offense before his injury too.
I just don't get it.
It’s almost like he was a pretty bad quarterback coming off of his best season which was still pretty meh. I’m sure there are no parallels to be made from that situation though.
My only concern is I think that Maye kid is going to be the consensus number 1 next spring. Williams will end up being a consensus top 4 pick. I don’t think we end up with the one pick unless we also try to tank the rest of the year ourselves. What I think happens we end up with a #3 and like #10 (when we for some reason decide we need to beat teams like AZ and GB for no other reason than showing an improved record). I’m ok w that if we take like MHJ and the best trench player on the board. My big fear is we decide to trade up for a Williams bc we need to move off fields.
You really think the panthers win 2 more this season? Arizona winning this week was huge, we’re locked in at 1 as long as the panthers don’t win 2 games. I can see them winning 2, but I personally think they squeak out 1 more win at most.
Williams is going to be the consensus #1 unless something weird happens and it will be even clearer than last year
One MHJ please! Draft a tackle at our spot.
It would be interesting to see who the Giants would pick at 1OA. They either pass on Caleb/Maye or give up on Daniel Jones the year after an extension. Their fanbase will react violently I'm sure.
MHJ is the one player in this draft where you can truly use the word “Generational” and not feel like you’re just over using the word. I want him in a Bears uniform so bad it’s not even funny anymore
I do too. You know what else I want? To have the sustainable long term success that you can only have with a franchise QB
Alright, I don't get it. I'm not complaining, but how the fuck is a 10-7 team going to get the #5 pick?
Lmaooooo
MHJ at 2, best OT or DL at 5
this sub is going to explode when we do what every single analyst and non-bears fan knows we're going to do and take a quarterback.
If Williams or Maye are on the board, we're taking a QB, barring an MVP level back half for Fields.
Giants and Carolina odds are about the same
Carolina should get #1 from SOS if records are equal
MHJ! MHJ!
If you don’t like drake Maye you trade him to someone who loves him for a ransom. Or you draft MHJ at two and trade back with the 5. Pick up Bo Nix or Penix to sit behind Justin.
please don’t Patrick mahomes this shiiii ☠️
Need the Pats and Giants to out ass the panthers and cards so we can draft MHJ at 3
If this means we get Drake Maye, I'm happy.
Gonna be tough for the Panthers to outsuck the Giants
The Giants aren't even trying at this point are they
Felt like the Bears needed so many things to go their way to get the pick while Houston just needed to finish the season and baring a miracle they'd have it. I think that's Giants and Panthers this season with Giants as Houston. Seems likely the Panthers win 1 and Giants lose out
If the Panthers and Giants finish with the same record, it will come down to strength of schedule--the team that had the weaker schedule will get the better draft pick.
For the rest of the season I'll be rooting against the other teams in the NFC South and rooting for all the teams in the NFC East.
Day 433 of living in the tank crapper playing for draft picks 😝
