Like, when I say “mom home” Siri always hears “mum home” and then says it doesn’t know who my mother is.

I want to just block the word mum so it stops misshearing me.

There’s a field in contact entries for phonetic first names. It may help if you type “mum” into that field in your mom’s entry.

I guess. It just gets mum a lot of the time but sometimes gets I said mom. Also weird because we don’t use mum in my country. My old Apple Watch wasn’t nearly as annoying.

Even when it does get the correct pronunciation though, it still follows up with “idk who your mom is”. Old Apple Watch didn’t do this.

I think there is/was a way you could train Siri on your own voice on the phone, not sure if this would transfer to the watch but I imagine it would because the watch doesn’t do any processing.
