AppleCare+. Phone stolen. What replacement i get if newer models available? (alien.top)

Hi all,

Thinking about getting AppleCare+ for the first time for some peace of mind.

My question is: what if after 1.5 years for example, my phone is stolen.

Let's say i had an iphone 13 with AppleCare and now it's stolen, but iphone 14,15 exists.

Will i always get a brand new 13? Or cash? Or possibly a newer model?

Apple can replace your iPhone with a replacement product of the same model (or with a product that has the same or similar features) that is new or comprised of new and/or used Apple genuine parts and has been tested and passed Apple functional requirements.

You’d have to make sure you opt for AppleCare+ Theft and Loss to cover theft or loss.
