If Fields can’t prove himself to finish the season and doesn’t look like a starting QB, and we end up with the #1 pick what is Fields trade value? Which teams do you see maybe taking him on?

Just stop until week 18. Then chat about it.

That’s the first week of playoffs though. That’s when the 10-7 Bears begin their SB run. Need to wait until after SB to discuss. But I agree with the sentiment.

Because the hypothetical scenario is too upsetting for you?

This sub is getting soft af.

Probably a 4th, maybe a third if he doesn't crap the bed too badly down the stretch.

His contract situation is going to severely limit his trade value

Lance was traded for a 4th. Fields has to have more value than Lance

a 2nd and a 5th to Atlanta. If you want what is best for Fields the person this is it. An offense with him, Pitts, and bijan would be awesome.

Sam Darnold got a second+, anything less than a late first would be dissapointing.

[–] parks381@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Probably something similar to what Darnold fetched.

The falcons I think would surely give a 2nd for him. Maybe we have to throw them back a 5th or something but ya

Rams if Stafford retires? Titans? Maybe the Patriots end up at 3 and our 2nd pick is 5+ and we move up? Can the Saints find the money for him? Or maybe the Raiders?

Probably a mid round draft pick. His trade value is pretty low. I don't think very many teams around the league view him as a starter. He would be viewed as a dice roll.

He's the exact opposite type of QB you want for a backup. He turns the ball over too much and takes too many sacks.

If he can’t prove himself his value is probably around a 5th round pick. I think Poles could swindle a 5th from a team willing to take a flyer on him and think they can turn him around.

Bears would have very little leverage and fields hasn’t really shown anything this year

I’d be pretty surprised if they even got a 2nd

[–] inorite234@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

...if he plays well the remainder of the year....a 2 at best.

A 2nd or 3rd

[–] Aggravating-Card-194@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Even factoring in missing a half game hurt, this season the guy is on a 17 game pace of over 4,000 total passing yards and 34 total TD.

Yeah man, I’d say a 6th round swap and a mini- snickers.

[–] Beginning_Home_3554@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Probably a 3rd.

Gotta be no more than a 4th or 5th with the way he’s trending. But hey I’ll take it. Free pick
