Bought a secondhand m1 the other day and it was missing the left shift key. Bought new keycaps and hinges not realizing until I saw a video showing the replacement that there is supposed to be a stabilizer bar that is not present on this machine. I cannot find these for purchase anywhere. Anyone have any ideas where I could find these parts?

Short of buying a defective model and stealing the stabilisers I don't think you can buy them anywehre, since they are not an individual part. However I know what you can make them yourself with a paper clip or equivalently thick wire. The typing feel also may not be much worse if you use them without the stabilser.
