Have not updated my S7 yet, nor my iPhone to 17. Keep hearing battery horror stories

Should I stay put or are the 10.1 for Apple Watch battery issues fixed?

Awu2 with the latest iOS. I manage 84 hours on a charge. Don’t even use lower power mode.

Never had a battery issue

Depends upon what third part apps you must have.

48hrs + watch. No phone problems.

I'd wait. 10.1.1 is worse on my S8 than it was even on 10.1

I was one of the people here saying “what battery drain” and now after updating to the fixed update it’s zapping my battery like crazy.

I’m on the latest release and my AWU1 is lasting 48+ hours on a charge.

Only a small amount of users were affected by the problem. And that was fixed for them with 10.1.1.

I was having slightly more battery drain with all versions of 10 before 10.1.1. Since installing it late last week, my watch is now back to as close to the same as it was with watchOS 9 to be indistinguishable.

I thought that I was the only one who hasn't updated, nice to know that I'm not alone.

I updated and things are just fine now. No more battery drain issue for me.

Didn’t have any battery issues on 10.1 or 10.1.1 so there is no clear answer. AWU2.

Since that update .. everthings fine..battery charged on saturday 9:20 a.m,workout every day( 1h) now monday 9:45 p.m still on 20% so it would actually hold up for 3 days.

I haven’t notice any battery difference over the past week or so and just updated whenever it asks me too.

I have abandoned hope on the 10.1.1, it is super uber trash, how is Beta 10.2 folks, I mean crap at this point it cant be much worse it does not make it 10 hours now on an S5 with all stock widgets.

iPhone 15 Pro Max & a Series 7 watch. I reset my watch. Nothing. Still had crazy battery drain. Dead in under 2 hours. All third party apps removed. I then downloaded the public beta 10.2 update almost 2 weeks ago I believe and my watch is back to its normal self. I toggled off the beta update option in settings after as I didn’t want that to be regular thing.

Mine is much worse and it was already bad last update.
