Some of have already proven themselves to be scabs, though, so the pool of potential leaders is smaller than Nolan suggests.

This is why conflating labor policy with unrelated or loosely related issues might not be a good idea. Saying the right words in regards to the conflict in Gaza might be cheaper than standing for labor in the US. We might not be paying for labor policy policy with the lives of children in Gaza. That might not be the transaction at hand at all. It might be a false dichotomy.
