Hi, a friend of mine is buying 15 pro from Canada for me (I’m in India) and I have a few questions

Does he need to specify somewhere to get an international model? He will most probably buy online from the apple website where no specifications like that are asked.
Just want to confirm - there are physical sim slots in Canada’s iPhones, right?
